Technical Warning light issue - suggestions?

All,

My girlfriend has a petrol 2013 Fiat 500, with the following warning lights that come on when she touches the brakes. (I’ve attached a pic)
General failure indication.
ESP system failure.

The front discs and pads have been changed.
All exterior and interior lights work.
Parking sensors work.
It’s odd that both warning lights come on at the same time.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a possible fault?

Rear hatch wiring issue I'd guess well known and about the right age.
Have you checked the brake lights?

It could be your main earth cable or the brake light switch which would make sense if it does it when she touches the brakes.

Agree with the switch on the brake pedal..

It has 2 modes..and is used to trigger 'body control' through ABS system

Your System Warning could be related to this.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, sorry I should have been more specific.
The main lighting works including the number plate lights and do do the brake lights.
I’ll keep looking for the problem and inspiration.

As soon as the warning comes up is there a message on the screen it only stays there 10 seconds or less?
