i start new job tomorrow 18th there pay day is 25th whats the chances i will get paid for a week?
or will i have to wait till november 25th???

It depends on whether they pay you up until the end pf the month on the 25th, up to the 25th or a week in hand (ie. up until the 18th). The only way to find out is to ask.

As Helz says just ask. They may give you an advance if you need one.

It all depends on when the payroll cut off is - I get paid on the last day of the month, but anything that is going into that months salary has to be submitted by 15th of the month.

my old job pays you on 6th but cut off is 30th, i could reallt do with them paying me 18th - 22nd on the 25th lol
not going to happen that way tho

Thats the same as me whitewabbit, i start a new job tomorrow but like you have said we will have to wait till november 25, the cut off date for my company is 16th like my old job, so im guessing it might be similar for most jobs,

But ya never know might be lucky and you will get paid

WIth my accomdation paid for and ignoring one off costs, I seem to be living off £25/week or so, couldn't live off £40 for 4 without desperate measures!
