There must be a solvent out there which will soften the adhesive without taking the paint off. Possibly -

Tar remover
White spirit

T-cut, T-cut, T-cut.... bugger! through to the undercoat.

Take care.

I agree with Dawn, try with a hairdryer first. Tar remover or similar should then get rid of any remaining adhesive.

Yellow T-Cut may be required to blend in the fade, but don't get carried away or you'll end up doing the whole car. ;)

Oh, just an afterthought... Don't try pulling them off when the car body is cold or you may end up with more paint on the stripes than the car. A hairdryer may be a good idea no matter what other method you use.

85% of Marea HLX drivers have speeding tickets.... lol they'll have to catch me first.

i had viper stripes on my last cinq(red car) only had them on for about 4 months and i could never get rid of the marks they left on the roof, even with t-cut thet were still there, rest of the car was fine.
good look

got a cinq

Hey guys...ive done it and its all fine...

Did get some residue on the paint but i got rid of it all with Cif [:0] had to clean the car pretty quickly after to make sure there was no paint damage.....sniff...it looks so boring now but at least i caught it in time before the paint started to fade!!

Thing is now that when i had i de-badged the guy taped around the stripes so now i have a thick darker line running up the middle of the bonnet [:0][:(!][}:)] NIGHTMARE!!!!!

So im off today to get a quote for a respray :([xx(][V]
