Im after some vinyl for my car. need to be an inch wide in red and green.

Im told the vinyl rolls are 1.5meters wide if so i will need 6 x 1inchx1.5meters red and 6 x 1inchx1.5meters green (bit of dodgy metric imperial work going on there haha)

they are for an italian strip theam on a white car.

If you call them they may be able to do them two colour, or you could order red and green and just cut down the middle, may take a bit of lining up but at least you wouldn't have joins as it can be up to 6m long

yeh been on that site but they are more then ive been quoted already and more work. I dont need a solid line. they are for my cinq and no panels are longer then 1.5 so there is no joins

Nay lad, get thysen down B+Q or Maplin and pick up some inch wide electrical insulation tape (which is vinyl) - available in an assortment of colours and cheaper than chips - perfect for making flag stripes and chequerboard stuff - see http://www.mugi.co.uk/tutorials_chequer.php

how is it a bodge? its the exact same thing, 1" vinyl strips.

but you're right, it is a bodge unless you paint them on properly.

Is that what you are looking for then and at least you have the Red sorted. Is it a darkish Italian flag sort of green that you want.

yeh I really wanted the rich colours that the flag has.... got to remember the cars all white. the darker colours will hopefully tone it down
