General VAT Rate from Jan 10

Ladies / Gents,

I know this has been subject to some heated discussions on this forum (and please, let's not start them again on this thread), but my dealership has just informed me (by telephone and email) that the cost of the 2.5% VAT increase will be borne by Fiat UK and not the customer on all orders placed before 24 Sep 09 but delivered after 01 Jan 10.

Good news for some I hope.....makes the delayed delivery a little easier to take!
