Hello all!

Yep, I know, weird answer. The question is "sticky door rubbers", especially after some rain and the Cross has dried in the garage. Which of these can I apply to avoid the rubbers sucking and sticking. And the rubber from perishing.

Help will be appreciated!
Thank you.

Dont know sorry but Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care is amazing. Really worth the small amount of money in my opinion it makes rubber seals like new.

Vaseline holds dirt and sticks to your paint horribly I used it on my sunroof once, was a mess.

Might be worth mentioning, years and years ago when I first brought my 1st VW Beetle sometime in 1958 when the sealing was so good you got air locks and the doors became hardish to open.

The dealers suggested a liberal coating of Glycerin obtained from the local drug store. Its cheap and protects all kinds of door seals including cars and refridgerators.

Just open the doors and apply with cotton wool, allow to dry off and Bobs your uncle (Or something like that)

Jake the old fart..

Or use silicon spray to lubricate (just give it a wiper along the seals). Lasted on mine for 18 months.
