but still.. this being the first time i've found nice pics of the innards.. also post seems to confirm my long running engine troubles (rough idle) are variator related (bugger.. since that’s a new one faulty out of the box)

also another interesting point brought up there is poor fuel economy and idle due to a faulty thermostateek: as mine is sticking.. could it cause my problem? car doesn't overheat... and it is sweet until it warms up.. that's when trouble starts :bang
