It's almost time for me to service the car. Am I right in thinking it's not worth checking the valve clearances? It seems like a lot of work to me and I'm pretty sure most mechanics wouldn't check them.
My first service was done by a proper mechanic. After seeing how little he did, and reading other peoples horror stories I have decided to service the car myself. I don't want to cut corners, but I really even see good mechanics checking the valve clearances on the 899cc Sei. It looks like so much work.
So, should I check the valve clearances? It's on 49,000, and is 6.5 years old.
