Valve cap scum bags

hi

just been out to move my car, and noticed, yet again, every one of my dam valve caps have gone. I had a set of locking ones on to start with, but two of them were taken off within a week. So put standard ones back on, until the other day when I hada new set of tyres fitted, so at the same time had some alloy valves fitted, complete with nice caps.
Not anymore, the caps are no where to be seen, thieving scum bags. I would hate to see the state of these people if I caught them.

I gotta go out now and find some ****ty ones thatll look **** on the new valves. but im'm not shelling out anymore cash for these things.

Ive got the flush fitting valves on mine, they look so much better than the usual valves that stick out. I got mine from the same place as the wheels for a tenner on top of the price of the alloys www.rochford-tyres.co.uk.

I dont know whether or not you have to fit them before the tyre goes on though

Last time someone tried nicking my valve caps I caught them and chased ythem straight into the arms of a waiting policeman . Little ratbag got caught red-handed.

Paul, age is no excuse for this! Even a young child should be taught not to steal, do not even pretend that it should be condoned. In my case, since the kid had obviously stolen then, the parents paid up. And also I only chased the child because the little scumbag ran off - I asked him politely to give them back and had he done so I wouldn't have had to. Are you telling me that if someone took youre bike you would stand and let them???

No way, just beating the hell out of a kid is hardly the way to go.... I agree discipline is necessary to stop, as WR says, the crime increasing, however, physically beating them up which was suggested at the top isn't the way to go IMO.

yeah I like the flush fit valves. trouble is they'll need fitting with the tyre off, meaning they'll need rebalancing. and at 6quid a wheel it gets bit expensive.
think ill invest next time i get a set of tyres.

i agree, they need to be taught.
I was contemplating buying a security camera to watch my car last night lol.

I will be increasing the sesitivity on my proximety sensor for my alram tho.
If anyone goes within 10metres of my car from now on and ill know lol

fair enought a ten year old wouldnt get a beating but anyone thats looking over the age of 16 who i see touching my car would defo get a slap, a hard one to, steeling is the lowest low, it pisses me off so so much, i work hard for the stuff i buy, ain having anyone taking it away from me!!!!
