Technical urgent help needed

Hi - my poor little fiat cinq has grown a tail - it now has long fibreglass strands coming out of the exhaust (LOTS of it) - now I'm a complete muppet when it comes to cars - I can service my cinq but thats my limit and exhausts are beyond me!

what is happening? is it dangerous and can I drive the car to work this evening without fear of it blowing up!?

any suggestions gratefully recieved!

It seems that you need a new box as the stuffing's coming out of yours!

james is right.you need a new back box but it wont blow up so your okay tonight. get a new back box asap though

and for the advice - I was hoping it was just something like that - really freaky though looked like someone had stuffed half a cat up there!!

guess its going to be expensive but at least if its that I can still get to work and get some money to mend it

Hi,
A friend of mine thought the local kids had been stuffing horse hair up his exhaust when this happened to him, he kept watch of the car for about four days before he realised what it was.....
