wot other gear box will work for a cinq sporting will a punto 55 gear box do??

i dont no thats y im asking! i havent got a clue just that someone told me that the punto box will fit in?
Its the same box yes, BUT:
a) Gear ratios are longer on the '55 so yu'll lose acceleration
b) I think the Punt uses a hydraulic clutch mechanism, but so the parts can be readily swapped over from the Cinq gearbag to make it a manual (mechanically) actuated box.'
'Fraid I wouldnt know how to do that, but I remember a bloke putting pics up earlier on in the year as he had to swap the parts over to make a 6-speed box work!...Search ferret!
