General Upgrade the A/C unit

I found a Digital dual zone automatic AC unit on ebay my question is can I use it to upgrade my car's standard ac or do not ( i read that the temp sensor is built in it ) so i see no reason for it not to work
But I'm no expert so do I get it or no
