Styling Unscrewing The Original Aerial

oryt people just joined the site as ive got a problem, went and bought a new sports aerial today from halfords and i cant seem and dont know how to get my old aerial off my car.

i have a fiat punto sx, v reg 99. the aerial seems to be a little bit plastic but doesnt seem as though it will screw off. any suggestions?

usually they just screw off 2 min job, unless someone has bodged it back on previously...

I bought one from scrap yard, great conditions but aerial tip is seezed on. That might be your problem aswell, was you looking to get a beesting or sumut?

u could try putting something like WD40 to try and see if it comes out that way

You may have a job i even tried a set of plyers and still won't budge

ahh another stiff aerial disaster lol. I had the same problem on my punto. I bought a richbrook one but noticed that my original one didnt unscrew no matter how much pressure applied.

What you need to do is or what i did was get some really big plyers. I went searching in my dads tool box and found some standard small ones which they didnt work and then found a huge one. Ask any garage if you can borrow it for 2 seconds if you havent got one. And just turn to your left.

You could try wd-40 as well to help make it easier
