Uno Mia 1100 clutch. The year model is 2002 and the spareshops indicate two types of clutch kits on engine number 160A3000, VIN: AFZ146U0303... and gearbox C513. Spline type 20 or 22, input shaft 17.4mm or 23mm, thrust bearing 82 or 30mm. Clutch measures 127 inner 181 outer. Need to buy the correct kit. Also the fork nylon bushes are worn out and unavailable. Any help hereto appreciated.
Thx

We really need a full VIN number. From that it the exact Engine etc. can be confirmed.

Sorry I'm not able to identify that VIN via ePER or on VIN decoders.

AFZ is probably unique to African Fiats? Have you asked a Fiat dealer in South Africa for a part number?
I did contact the Cape Town branch of a Fiat dealership and I was informed that since their break away from Nissan South Africa that they no longer deal with this discontinued model. Even the old microfiche system and references are discarded, thus leaving me with this dinosaur. If you can find any cross reference numbers it will be a great help to order on alternative numbers instead. Thanking you for assistance, regards

I'm also in PM contact with @ianreg and am trying to unravel what possible hybrid Fiat Parts Bin his Uno is using.

What @ianreg is certain about is that his Uno has the C513 box so we now need to look for production clutch breaks prior to and after 2002. This may reveal part numbers that can be used with other OEM/after market suppliers to establish which clutch plate he has.

Well I am unable to definitively say what is the correct clutch.

According to Valeo:

Uno 1100cc 58HP, Engine Code 160A3.000, Gearbox C513, dates 10/1989 to 12/1992 has 20 spline teeth and diameter 180mm
Uno 1100cc 56HP, Engine Code 160A3.000, Gearbox C514, dates 01/1998 to 10/2002 has 20 spline teeth and diameter 190mm

Why your 2002 vehicle has a C513 gearbox is a mystery.

So, sadly I think you will have to take the old clutch out to be sure OR arrange with your supplier to buy two kits with "sale or return" on the incorrect one.

Looking at Autodoc these full kits are cheap so you won't need a bank loan and you will get your money back (possibly less 5% or 10% handling charge) on the one that you don't need.

Thank you for the patronage and advisory this far. I will need to dismantle over the weekend and get correct info from the old clutch, as the local spare shops dont have a refunding policy. It appears as if these Uno's have a lifetime of 20 years then repairs come long listed. After this clutch ordeal I'm facing CV joints, ball joints, discbrake wheels & calipers, exhaust system complete, shocks x 4, handbrake cable, distributor, carb overhaul, engine has been overhauled 2 years ago, new radiator fitted. I can imagine what I'm in for to find these parts and cost!
Best regards
