General universal sub frames

Does anyone know if the sparco universal subframes will fit the cinq, coz bought some seats the other day and then went to buy some subs for them. Apparently they have to specially make em at the factory and will take 3-4 weeks to order in! Lazy bastards! Would appreciate any tips. Cheers. Dan

Dunno, but I fettled an OMP universal tilting subframe with some bits of 3mm steel bar, a drill and some bolts to fit my Cobra factory subframes.

If yure handy with a welder yu could make yure own- its certainly not difficult!!!

i made my own subframes for the buckets in my cinq as i mounted them really low rather than original seat hight like the cobra frames are.

if i were you id make your own all you need is a set of runners.
The sparco frames might fit but if you have to modify and weld them then you may as well start from scratch.

Have ordered some but will take ages to come in (4weeks)
Will make some of my own until i get the proper ones in.
What metal do you use? Thickness...

i used as it is called in the trade 20mm box section if you ask your local steel supplier or bodyshop material supplier he will know exactly what your after, one warning on mine so that it is strong i fully seam welded them with my mig welder this takes time and loads of patience but is worth it trust me as you can make them as you want and there bloody strong
