General Universal seats......

How universal are universal seats?

I been looking a few very nice seats from various company's which are 'universal' fitting.

How easy are these seats to fit then (I.e. into my MK2) as surely they can't make the seats so they fit every single car ever made Lol!!

Help needed before I go buy

universal usually means that dont actually fit any car perfectly.,lol
but all you need is a pair of subframes that are specific to your make and model, they attach to the new seats and have mounting positions that match with the ones from your original seats in the floor.,

Are you after racing seats like some sparco, recaro etc?

or you could just try and find some from a punto sporting / HGT as they would fit right in. . .

All other seats require you to buy the correct subframes for your car. . .
