Well, I'm gobsmacked. Arriving home from work Thursday, as I pulled up to my abode there was steam coming from the bonnet. 😲

Upon opening the bonnet
I was greeted by this...

Luckily, as some of you may know, I have a spare in my spares drawer, (which I bought after my trip around Europe )
and never actually got around to fitting.
I thought as the weather was moderately nice yesterday, I'd better fit it.

Still got you home though didn’t it 😉
Yep, sure did. Thing is, it smelt funny when I arrived at work in the morning (that hot rubbery steam smell), but I dismissed it as I have a heavy workload on at work, and didn't want to think about it. Of course by the evening, I'd forgotten all about it.
So SOME of the water that went through the turbo, was leaking, and when the pipe finally came free, ALL of the water that went through the turbo was lost.

I'm not sure how much water there is in the cooling system (I'm sure I read somwhere it was about 5L), but to fill it up after fitting the new tank, took 2.5L.
