General Undercar neons

Got myself some red under car neons 2day. Any 1 got any idea where you run the cabling into the car to be able to get it to the dash. Is there an easier way than going into the engine bay and through the same hole as the amp? Also do i just run the wiring through the fusebox (what size fuse) coz the info i got with it is shocking. P.S. ive got the relay......and everything needed.

stupid as it sounds, i'd say run the majority of wires through the back of the car, ie make sure the sides have the wires nearest the back, ive done it running 3 of the wires through the front (sides and front) and 1 through the back, and its very untidy as the wires have to sit in the engine bay, if i was to do it again i'd do it running more through the back and less through the front

for the ones that went through the front, i did just use the same hole as the amp/spedo cable

Cheers. I have a new hole for the amps behind the dash that i might be able to get wires into without going through the top of the engine bay. Will have a look 2moro. Will also see how i can get the wires through the back as it sounds like a good idea. However i have a feeling the the neons are wired in series. Anyway it'll give me something to test me new ramps on 2moro. Cheers m8. Dan

no worries, anything to help someone from making the same mistake i have

its also easier to route the wires under the car at the back, as at the front if something comes loose the alternator or something can chop up the wire (i've had this too )

Bit Unlucky, sounds like it couldve caused a lot of damage! I think 400 cable ties should stop that.

lol, when i do the engine swap im either going to re wire it all (including majority of wires through the back) or at least tidy the wires up , at least with engine out i'll be able to get at everything properly

Started the neons 2day, but got up really late so only managed to get most the wiring done. Ive mounted the relay and transformer behind the nearside headlight, Is that a good place (too late really. lol) Where has every1 else fitted theirs?

Dunno whether to go wit yellow, or blue if i get some.

Yellow to go wit the car,
Or blue to go wit my blue sidelights, washer and sub box neons???

You dont see the yellow in the dark, so go with the blue. I got red to match my headlights, but then again i got my headlights to colour code to interior. lmao. I'd go with the blue.

I fitted mine today, i got some max power red ones really good. Think its got about 12 different functions.
