Technical ultraspark electronic ignition which coil?

hello all!thinking off putting a ultraspark electronic ignition on my 1500 x19 !do you use a standard coil or an uprated one?

Normal one should be fine however, uprated would be better…there are kits out there where the coil comes with it. I had a powerspark on mine which worked fine

Just a side note, make sure you get one that’s known to fit as some ‘universal’ Fiat ones are for ducillier NOT marelli…they’re usually listed as compatible with Fiat/Simca/renault, they will not work on sexy-exxes

I have the new dry type coil, but it seems it’s not suitable for electronic ignition.

does the kit specify 3 Ohm or 1.5 Ohm coil?
