with a line of hgvs at a junction one may have to move out to stop an accident.
or he could slow down to leave a bigger gap in front for some one to merge into, or the truck behind could leave a bigger gap in front of him

If yes but they really should increase it. I can do whatever speed I want to. It's only breaking the law if you get caught at the end of the day. My uncle is a traffic cop and he hates the limit being 70 as he says all the cars that spot him immediately drop to 70 and It's a nightmare. he would rather then continue as they had been doing. I tend to agree. One question, you lot ain't all ninety years old or somethig are you and that's why you're worried as your reaction time is actually longer than the actual stopping distances?
What?! Good maths, crap English!
they might all be too scared to overtake by 2mph so just stay in a line.or he could slow down to leave a bigger gap in front for some one to merge into, or the truck behind could leave a bigger gap in front of him
Quite the opposite end of driving ages.. I'm 18 and a highly trained and qualified advanced driver.
Get your spelling right all the way through the thread then moan at other people.

never said they was turning off a junction. they were passing a junction, and i have seen it a few timesThe HGVs wouldn't be driving in a manner for that to happen when backed up turning off at a junction. Another made up scenario that is extremely unlikely!

But you're 18, there is no training better than experience, simple as.
I'm on a mobile with **** predictive txt that I hate.
or you'd slow down. This is all pretty obvious though ain't it. Were not talking about crap scenarios like that. Everybody is going to deal with those situations safely and not think ah its ok ill continue at 80 in the middle lane. Just the same as with a 70 speed limit the traffic tends to slow right down at these junctions just as it would with an 80 limit
Haven't you very recently passed your test...?
Yeah, so am I.
Dom
Might be crap but it happens.. Since when did people slow down on motorways for junctions??
Dom
HTC, the worst predictive txt ever! Never again will I buy one of these!
I passed my test for the second time fairly recently. But have driven since I was 17
Often. You pretty much have to with the influx of more traffic. That's why I get in the outside lane where's its less likely. Safer too.
