Uconnect 5 but not in a FIAT

Dear Friends

I hope you can help me with my problem because I see that some of you were able to use a uConnect 5 in your 500.
So I have an Alfa Romeo MiTo and put a uConnect 5 from a newer MiTo but I can't make proxy alignment and my odometer is flashing of course.

MES says entertainment telematic node failed when I trying to do the procedure.

Did you car have UConnect in already or the older blue and me?
If it's the older one it's unlikely to work as it will be expecting different connections for the microphone and other systems

No there were no blue&me. I only had a stock blaupunkt radio. Can it be the problem that I don't have microphone connected?
If the mic won't work I can live without it just the flashing odometer is my biggest problem.

I know it's an old posting but I solved this. You have to find (on Multiecuscan) the GPS tick box and enable it. The Proxy Alignment then goes to work and tells the other components that everything is there.

Can I ask where you found the GPS tick box? I seem to have the same problem!
