Hi, I need winter tyres for my 04 Panda 1.2 they currently have the recommended 155/80/13 R. The new rims and tyres i have are winter 175/70/13 R my question is would they fit? would they be dangerous is my concern! thanks in advance..I'm clueless with this stuff.

You probably would need to know the offset as well. Generally the winter tyres would be better with a narrower tyre than a wider one (bigger footprint). What are the other wheels originally from? Have they the correct PCD?

If you lived in Northern Ireland, I have a nice wee set of alloys with 155/80/R13 Continental WinterContact tyres that are almost new... Would be a perfect fit! Also have a set of the stock 14 inch alloys with new / almost new tyres as well...

I run my Panda on 175/70/13 (on Panda 13 inch wheels) no problems at all, i run them all year round, far better than the 155 bicycle tyres.
