Technical Twisted sunroof ?

Hi folks,
My Multi has a sunroof problem that I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere.

For some reason when the rear roof slides shut and 'parks' the nearside rear
corner of it is still elevated by about 6-7mm so obviously it isn't making a
seal. The offside rear corner is shut properly and the seal is slightly
compressed showing that it has obviously seated correctly.

I have done the obvious, ie lubing the tracks with WD and physically trying to
push the roof into position as someone holds the shut button, but to no avail.
The rear seat is now sodden as is the headlining

Any ideas what the heck is happening? The rest of the sunroof operation seems
perfect,. i.e sliding back and parking etc

Has this just happend or did it allways act like this since youve had it?.
