Technical tweeters

hi guys, was just wondering if any of u know how to replace the crappy
tweeters mounded at the back of the wing mirrors in the mark 2?

is it just a matter of pilling of the bit of placky?

you got to prise of teh screw cover in the bottom corner, then prise the rubber cover of the adjusment lever thing, then you need to unscrew the funny looking retaining nut. you need a special tool or you may be able to do it with a pair of needle nose pliers. then pull the plastic cover away to release the clips. once insde you can pull of the speaker wires and take the tweeter out.

lol kebab but its not an actual screw that needs to be removed its a special retaining nut wich you either need a special tool for or you should be able to get it out with needle nose pliers.

On this topic, is there a cross-over already built into the door to switch the signal between the mid-driver and the tweeter, or is the tweet just run inline?

sorry to jumo in on the thread but you may be able to help me here. I need to replace one of my tweeter speakers do you know where to get them and how much?
