Hi Guys

Hoping someone may be able to shed some light on this one for me.

Is it possible to swap Uno Turbo calipers and disc's onto a '94 Uno Mk2 1.4ie ?

It doesnt look like the hub's or drive flanges are the same but I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has managed it !!??

Cheers

As far as I know you would need the turbo hubs and mounting brackets along with the calipers discs pads etc.. :)

Yes they will fit to standard Uno hubs, i did this to my Mk I 1.3 Uno. All you need ar ethe caliper and mounting plates and they will line up.

Cheers

the front calipers will fit with no problems at all, fitted on my mk2 1100 about 2 months ago and it's braking has improved by 100%. for the rear i'm afraid that you will have to get the uno turbo rear hubs as they are a bit wider than the normal ones and the disc catches on the caliper with the standart hubs.

sorry I live in SA so won't be able to help you much on that. heard some rumours that you can fit the fiat palio brakes aswell, but don't know if you need to modify them, bigger than UT brakes.(y)

no nto at all, the shaft is just thicker, as the UT produces more power than the standard shafts can handle, i installed UT brakes on my 1100 uno and it works perfectly and you can feel the difference.

Cool (y) - was that the whole lot - calipers, discs, pads etc? or just the calipers?

You will need to use Turbo Discs and pads with the turbo calipers...

Are the parts available off any other cars that may be easier to find in a scrap yard?

For the discs and pads not much point as they are so cheap

Like i got brand new front discs for 20quid a pair..

Calipers not sure tbh although there are plenty being broken on Turbocollective
