hi all,
just new to the group, i have had an engine light come on and code P2563, i have had conflicting information regarding this and what the sensor actually is, i have been told it is also known as the MAP sensor, can someone confirm that this is correct and if they can point me in the direction of where it is located.
i have a 2013 ducato 3.0l
thanks in advance

my database puts P2563 as the turbo solenoid. Now the 2.3 2017 has a turbo solenoid (in centre of engine behind bracket ) and has a MAP sensor. The 3.0 x250 has a boost solenoid which can be actuated/tested by MES. The MAP sensor is typicaly in the intake manifold. They are 2 different items but both can effect the boost.

My experience with hand held code reader when it comes to Italian brand, and I've been told a lot too, that it's rather unreliable.
It'd turbo solenoid fault code shown only, but it turned out to be ECU issue as well.
Most recommended method, is to get Multiecuscan aka. MES downloaded from their official website on a laptop, €50 iirc, free version is just for show, then get the main cable called ELM327, coloured cable have different functions like airbag codes. There's a few good guides on YT.

The free version is basicaly to prove connection between pc and obd2 port
