Hi
i `ve got the chance of a set of tsw stealths with tyres for £50 (tyres are good but wrong size but i should be able to sell them)
They are 100 pcd and 40mm offset i know they will fit with wobbly bolts and 10mm spacers only trouble is i`ve been told you should never use wobbly`s with spacers is that true?Or could i convert to longer studs but use wobbly nuts?(ooer missus!!!!!)
I was thinking of reconditioning them myself and fitting abarth centre caps what do you reckon?
Also can you get wobbly locking bolts?
Cheers
Adrian

I have TSW Alpines, i required spacers and longer bolts!

Does that help????

hi AJ

look at the sticky treads on Technical. it has a link to where you need to obtain them.

good luck

Hi Pete
They are fitted with 185/55/14`s,i think the wheels are 6j.What tyre width and profile do you think i should use? Also do you think they would be safe with spacers and wobblys?I do drive quite hard.
Cheers
Adrian

If you're using proper hubcentric spacers and the correct length wobbly bolts, you should be ok. With wobbly bolts, it's essential that the wheels sit properly located on the hub spigot (bit wot sticks out) as this is a load bearer and centraliser for the wheel.

185/55r14 tyres will give you near as dammit the same diameter as 195/45r15's - and they are a squeeze. 195/45r14's would be a better option.
