Styling Trouble connecting side skirts

I finally painted my side skirts, but after hours of fighting i cant get em to fit!!!
Someone any tips?
What i need, i have 2 side skirts and alot of glue.
What i missing?

drill holes and fix with screws? or maybe some "no more nails" as we call it here in the uk.

Are they sedici skirts, you need holes along the sill, and NEW clips as when they have been used once they fail to hold on they are long pointed barbed things cost very little from fiat. Otherwise windscreen sealant sticks anything together, I have used it many times for general joins.

Thanks for the advise!
I'll call the dealer if they can find those clips for me.
They where connected before, but there are no holes in them.
Ill try windscreen sealant and those clips.

Does the sealant need alot of time to "dry"? (I dont have an Garage.)
And am Dutch, that expains my english
I 'll post pictures of the skirts later.

I think tiger seal is often used for this sort of thing. Problem with doing that is it's a right arse if you ever need to get them off. Go for the clips as Rich suggests if you can. Maybe use some paint on the clips to mark the panel where you need to drill holes.
