Horrrah!

Finally fitted the TB I bought ages ago and took the car out for a spin.

Feels much more responsive and less asthmatic than before. Will see if it cuts my journey time to work in the morning :)

On a completely different subject horney(sorry), is there still plans to hold the Mini vs Cento RR day? caus a guy I know at work with a mini is interested (and I wanna kick his arse).

Well I was lead to believe things like a 1242, chipping and a panel filter would be ok, even good for consumption as it is more optimised for higher speeds.
While a throttle body would just suck up more air and burn it quicker, just curious.

well you get more power when you combine air and fuel.more air would make a lean mix without fuel.
okay a well set up motor will give better fuel economy but these mods are for power

The extra horses and larger power bands often mean that the car doesn't need to try as hard as different flows are not restricted, so not having to compensate by flowing more fuel.

Mine beat all the standard Cinq's and Sei's and won the Clubcento economy run last year.
