General towbars

just given doncaster towbars a ring and they said they can supply and fit me a brink swan neck with twin electrics for £210... that sounds pretty good to me! so fingers crossed i should be getting it fitted pretty soonish!

I'm assuming that will be the same as mine, mines a brink swan neck (none detachable) i only have the single socket but then again that's all i need

If you have a decent set of spanners you can remove the towball/ swan neck section at the bracket if you want to providing your profficiant with a set of spanners

brink do an upgrade kit apparently for christ knows how much so you can upgrade your standard swan neck bar with a detachable ball by the way the chap at towone sounded it has a socket which bolts where the ball currently bolts in and the new towball unit clicks into that..

i prefer to leave mine on its protected my bumper on at least one occasion where i watched some dozy lady driver attempt to let her car mate with mine as she parked behind me fortunately it only shattered her number plate and delved her bumper mine was uninjured

hmmm... undoing them bolts might be a bit tricky for me...

ive been looking around on various websites and alot of towballs arnt fittable to the sportings why is this if the bumpers are the same?

is it ride hight?
