It looked fairly clean, I'd have given them a couple of hundred quid for it!

You'd be surprised what some clean Mk1 Unos are making!
I suppose they're getting a bit scarce these days - most have rusted away like my Mk2 Uno did! Some of the few Unos that haven't been reduced to rusty bangers could be heading toward "modern classic" status - I'll keep an eye out for a Mk1 Uno restoration in Practical Classics!
Shame about the Uno Steve, count your lucky stars it wasn't an old Brava they used!
