Do you reckon i could put tomtom on my w800i? as i have 209mb of space and iirc tomtom is only 128mb and my dad has the software, and i have acquired a gprs receiver with bluetooth so can find the location.. was thinking as i was going to buy a xda2 or p800/900 to put bluetooth on but i may aswell put it on my w800 if its possible... only thing is it doesnt have touchscreen....

also will any pda be able to work tomtom as there are some on ebay where the camera doesnt work for like £10 bin and have memory card spare..

thanks

Craig

how do you know if its supported? cheers for the reply custard (y)

as when i bought the w800i i was told it was a pocket pc, and that to me is the same as the p800 etc..

Just sell your W800 and get a compatible phone, speed camera databases can be added to it also.

Tom Tom Mobile and Tom Tom Standalone stuff is different not the same.

Tomtom go 700 are only £349 from Halfrauds and they come with external aerial (sell on ebay), pack of covers (sell on ebay) and 2 vouchers for speed camera positions and map updates. The maps loaded cover all of western europe down to house number scale and the cannary islands.

Right Im getting confused!

Both these are in my local paper for £50 each

Tungsten T2
http://computing.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/ps_5502579/114501.html
has 400mhz (good for Tomtom) 5 days life

Zire72
http://computing.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/ps_10353981/114501.html
only has 4hours battery life  but also has camera, looks nicer, and has a 256mb memory card with it (so can fit TomTom on straight away) (only £10 or so on ebay anyway..)

will only be in the car anyway and will be on charge all time ignition is on... so not really worried about the battery life tbh...

HELP!!
