Tuning to power steering or not to power steering?

hi, im rebuilding my punto and im not sure weather to put the ps back on or go for a normal rack. the weight of the steering isnt an issue, the ratio of the rack is. im after quickest possible so does anybody know if there is any differance?? also im puting a megajolt on it so the trigger wheel will need modifing so want to put the right rack on first time.

to be honest i would leave it off its just somthing else that could go wrong lol but its up to you?
