General Tired air filter support

It turns out that the battery tray and air filter support are a bit of a weak point on the Multi, I've given the filter a clean up so it's the battery box next.





Does anyone have an undertray fitted (mine's the petrol) and does it help keep things clean under the bonnet like it did on my Ford?

I took mine out because it rattled an put a kandn induction pipe on the end it dont seem to use any more fuel than it did before

Mine ('02 115 JTD) looks like it has all the relevant attachment brackets, but no tray.
I've been thinking of making one up for a while now, as I have some perfect material for it.
I 'rescued' some large sheets of plastic from a disused display at work.
I think it's called 'Foamed PVC'.
3mm thick, but very light, and stiff enough for the job.

I was planning to make one also. I thought about some thin stainless or something like that due to having to bend it to suit the existing brackets etc.
