General Tipo petrol or diesel

Do the 1.4 petrol 95hp burn oil. And am I better off with the 1.3 diesel

i was putting oil into my tipo 1,4 multijet petrol like it was going out of fashion,
now got diesel 1.6 multijet never needs topping up had a bravo 1.9 diesel for 10 years never topped it up once

I'm told the 1.3 mj diesel are bullet proof how true it is is another day's work

I'd honestly prefer the petrol as I believe theyre cheaper to service and a cast iron block

The 1248 engine is pretty tough

The camchain is the only guaranteed expense as the miles add...

Diesel fuel in the uk is termed by the government as 'heavy oil'
