General Tipo C/Locking into Punto????

Hello all.

A friend of mine has a Tipo (think it's a k plate), he is scrapping it at the end of this year.

It has remote C/locking, would it be easy to take the unit out of the Tipo, and put the C/locking unit into a Punto on a 51 plate??? The punto has C/locking, but it's not remote.

no it be easier to fit a cheep alarm with c/locking on it

I fitted a microscan system into mine a few years back. Cost £40 but I didn't want the fuss of alarm. Really good system, uses radio rather than IR, so you can operate it from far away, or 5th floor of building! Just another option for you.

no alarm uses infra red fro the transmitters
