Hi can anyone help with timing marks for my old ducato motor home,I marked the position of flywheel, moved cam to mark,found hole in pump,and fitted drill to hold pump timing,changed belt ok,seems to run Fine,but when hot engine seems to rock back and to ,going to change bottom engine mounting,plus speed up idle a bit, but if anyone can help to reassure me, with timing info it would be appreciated,Engine is 2.5 TD think its a Sofim 2144.21
Just to drone on a bit further when i changed the tension and idle rollers,i found that one that came off was of slightly different size diameter,where the ones i was supplied with were the same,when i queried this i was assured this was the correct set and the ones fitted were wrong,all well and good, but to my mind this has moved the cam timing forward slightly
