hi, bought car december with 68000 on the clock & 12 months MOT.
Next day took to my local garage for full service just for my peace of mind and also got timing belt done.(probably around middle of december).
On around 69000 miles now, chap from AA thought the plastic timing belt cover arrangement may have come loose, to rub on belt, leading to the break.
What do you think? just replacement of belt or is anything else likley to be needed?

garage have been in contact today.they tell me the tensioner pulley has exploded and that is the root of my problems. quoting 150 including new tensioner to put straight.
