General Timing Belt- Change Due?

Can anyone tell me when i should be changing the timing belt on my missus,s mk1 1.2 16v punto sporting please? The mileage is 56900 on a98 "S" plate but she does like high revs!! My guess is i should do it now and prevent my wallet taking a beating but i,d like to hear your valued opinions. Also, while i,m here has anyone read my question on "electric window failure?" as ive had to ring a sparky for tmrw morn to sort it but i,d still appreciate any advice my fiat friends are prepared to divulge!! 60k or 5 years whichever occurs first.

Worth having it done sooner as the 16v will not be that cheap should the belt snap. 60k / 5 years (whichever sooner) is a good idea. If the head gasket has been done then check the paperwork to see if they changed the belt at the same time...

If it's not already been done then it is very overdue (by 2-3 years!!!). I'd get it done pronto if I were you
