I have the 40mm on a 1108cc. Whether that's optimum I couldn't guess. Was the biggest available at sensible cost when the previous owner fitted it.

I think the mm² of the plastic top air inlet might be smaller. And possibly the area of one and a bit valves ports are smaller.

A previous car had only 32mm across the butterfly and that was making over 200bhp. Was 24psi of turbo boost though.

I've had some great results with the P75 38 mm modified throttlebody. That's on a 1242 8v SPI engine. My engine got me 80.1 HP / 110 Nm.

I'm a bit confused, he only said 1.1 - 1.2 ect fire not if its 8v or 16 v or spi or mpi.. think he has to be more specific
