Hi all,
I have fiat panda 2011 (1.2 69 hp, same engine as in the 500). I want to clean the throttle body and I noticed that there is a gasket on it. I cheaked many websites and I didnt managed to find the right part number...
Someone know what is the right number?
MY vin is: zfa16900004017873

Some peaple told me the same thing, but I got used to install new gasket after I take out some part.
IF I would not find it, I probably will reuse it

Loctite 518 gasket replacement is ideal. It will only cure when air is excluded (within the joint) so no bits of sealant to fall off.

So I need to apllay the sealant, let say on the throttle body, and immediately joint them (the throttle body and the engine) together?

there's a rubber seal underneath

it doesn't need replacing every time

there shouldn't be any gasket sealant which is likely to cause more problems

I use 518 when soft seal gaskets look compressed leave the old seal in place. I agree a new seal is correct but I've never had a problem yet. 518 is not like normal gasket sealant and it only sets where there is no air.
Correct advice it to get a new seal. Getting the job done on a Sunday requires other options.

Gala, did you have to reset the throttle body when you put it back on?
