Thinking of buying a camcorder!

Ok as the topic suggests.......
Any help much appreciated.

- Not looking at spending more than £400
- Preferbably Dv
- Some kind of input for pencil cam's etc...... not sure how well these works but would be quite cool....... I mean useful. Lol

So any ideas?
Wot have people got/ Recommend?
