Google Chrome forced my hand and finally made us switch over to a secure url (HTTPS) otherwise it was going to start putting a nasty message in the address bar

So that was done this morning - and whilst I still have a few things to do, the main bulk is done.

If you notice any errors though, please do let me know so I can get on the case!

The main one now is that the site will list as "Insecure" until you close and re-open your browser (which updates the cache and should clear it) - so please try that first

We will have some issues with this if people have linked to insecure images (which will then break the whole https across the page)

Or it could be an issue for me to fix - if you can post a few links, I can check them out. There is years worth of code on this site, with a lot of it having http:// hardcoded

It needs a force restart - on android that's simple, but not sure how to do it on iOS?

On ios... force a hard reboot by holding power and home button for about 5 or 6 seconds... phone will reboot and any apps that where terminated but stay resident hibernated will now open fresh.

Hard restat hasnt worked, I no longer get an error but now I can no longer see any threads in order to see if there is still an error!

Right, got it working, found that closing apps and doing a hard restart seems to bring the apps back. So I closed all the apps and did a normal restart which didnt bring them back and now appears to be working again

Only had a couple of issues where the site has come back as uncontactable for about 5 mins, and then it works. Not seens any security alerts or been logged out, yet!

ePer always does that when there are more than x number of users connected. Just gotta keep trying. It's got nothing to do with the https situation.
