I have some charming examples from my own time there. My Japanese penpal showed me a skirt on her webcam the other day - proudly showed off a tennis skirt with "I love dickies" emblazoned across it. Ah, such sweet naivety.

But my favourite for pure convolution of the English language is my photo album:
