I am debating what to have. Components in the front are a given we can all agree (mid range and treble); now here comes the clincher.
A) 6x9`s on the parcel shelf

or

B) a neat little tube sub in the boot. (Pioneer do a nice tidy amped sub with a blue light up dislay) [8D] (my peference coz it means i aint gotta hassle my mate to make me an acoustic shelf!)

However, can anyone HELP as I have a small little wire than runs to the boot on the right side of the car with a little connector on it. Not enough to fit two speakers (`02 punto no rear speakers) and i dont know what it does. any suggestions [?]

what colour is it, and where does it come from?

Its red and white with a small white plastic connector. Two single (very thin) wires. Pops out from the right side of the boot, just under the parcel shelf by the seat belt bracket (thereabouts)

i been told it might be for the sub that you can have fitted as standard. its too thin for speakers and not enough cable for 2 channels. It pops out as if it were for speakers but i cant figure it. I am gonna ring fiat anyway but i'd thought i'd see if anyone else used it 1st.

Try to connect a little light bulb to it and switch the radio/cd on and off. Light? It might - yes, only might - be a cable for shutting down an amp in the boot.
