Hello everyone,
managed to borrow a work shop today so the lights went on.
It was and absolute doddle, thanks to both the BOO modding guides! cheers to everyone involved in producing them.
The only part i was worried about was wiring the side lights but it couldn't have been simpler.
Here comes the dredded BUT.
But as i was bolting the lights back in to position (after checking the lights work and doing an impresive job to tape up all the wires i had exposed) The drivers side went on fine, slotted the passenger side light in to the ball socket, did the bolt up closest to the wing, as i was doing the LAST bolt up the bracket snapped!
How much did that ruin the whole day. I was soo pleased with myself for having a go at something and the last thing i have to do goes wrong.
Couldn't finish it off tonight so am gona take it off again tommorrow night and make some sort of bracket to hold it all together again.
Just bloody typical though.
Will get some pics up when its all finished though.
Something else that isn't right is the bonnet catch is not working. The cable connected to the lever inside seems very stiff. And to get the bonnet catch to work i have to prise the metal catch out with a screwdriver, but still it doesnt seem to engage.
Anyone else have this problem?
