Cinquecento the Nuh-burg Cinq! 899 to 16v project track toy!

Introduction

So as the title suggests....this is a cinq s 899 to 16v conversion commissioned for a future track day at the the green hell.

little red, no idea of cars name yet is getting some treats, simple list here... he is a 96 p reg cinquecento s 899 with 40k on him, daily driven currently, soon to be made little nugget!

1.2 16v mk1 Punto sporting engine (86bhp)
New shocks and springs on 60/40 drop
Rear arb planned
spi sporting front arb will be fitted
omp upper brace
Fingers lower brace
(buckets seats budget depending)
aftermarket steering wheel
cinq sporting gearbox and shafts.

a donor is being supplied for all sporting bits and mounts to ensure its going to fit, this now being my 6th 16v conversion.
fuel pump etc be upgraded too to run it well
spare wiring loom has been acquired to create (soon to sell) d4 adapter to take spi sporting to 16v engine with a clip in solution.
come payday im buying a lot of brake clean, and various other products to ensure its clean when assembled so any issues can be diagnosed! cant beat a clean build,
stock sporting exhaust to start to keep noise tame for the owner, The may want more soon, so original mint condition diamond tip backbox has been sourced!, the rarity,

racing seats and frame are to follow, plan is running car first ,rest will be done as they arrive, everything cleaned, tidy as it goes,

suggested flat floor back and net to keep bits when using as rear seats be rather silly with harnesses i reckon.

il be adding posts as i go and things progress, some parts may come for sale from original and donor at owners discretion ,best chance is to ask i can find out!

well until i have engines out,in the 30 degree heat, thats not happening today,

so instead i did one crucial part to getting this working perfectly ,cinq 8v to 16v loom adapter, the fun of scouring the previous posts to find what goes where, think im good to go ;)

Do sporting engine mounts just bolt up to an 899? Back in the day people who wanted to swap an 899 to a sporting got told just to buy a sporting but thats not so easy anymore!
rear gearbox mount uses same two bolts on a sporting box, front gearbox mounts upper section will bolt to a 899 shell, engine mount for a sporting has diff plate to 899 on the shell you can swap out so it will accept it
