Cinquecento The new Cinq

Introduction

Please don't be too harsh considering I haven't touched it yet, just picked it up off a drive it had been sitting on for six months and driven it home to sit on mine. I'll tidy it up at the weekend  Oh, and it's an 899, dead cute :D Experiences so far are good - it drives well and is easy to manoeuver. It needs a new passenger wing mirror and a good clean, which it will get at the weekend :)

And in the second best colour too ;)
What? Slightly faded red? :D Of course it could just be the picture...
I got an insurance quote on one of these today. £200 Fully Comp. I am jealous of the running costs :(
I think part of the appeal of these is that they are so simple, so less to go wrong, and easier to fix if it does.
Has it got power steering?

If you think Cinqs are cheap to insure and run try getting a quote for a Panda!

Looking good Helz. I have a Brava and a Sei. You copying me? :p

Well I wouldn't say less goes wrong with the 899s! And the engine isn't easier to work on, (except changing the plugs coz they're on the front of the block) due to it being rather ancient! It is simpler in principle, but technically a pushrod engine has more working parts than an overhead cam!

That being said they are fun to own, and guarenteed to make you and your wallet/purse happy!!

Plus with the back seats down they are cavernous inside!

Enjoy!!
