I'll make it a lot harder next time

This revelation is the death of ignorance
tangled in a state of suffocation
slave to self righteousness
damnation is on your lips

That should be a touch harder, but not impossible :)

last serenade or something.

This is my last serenade
I feel you as you fall away
This is my last serenade
From yourself you can't run away

My go then!

I'm like Bill Lee writing when he's in Tangiers
And now I'm on a soul safari with my Beatnik peers
Analog reel and a little distortion
Smokin' on somethin' s'you could say I'm scorchin'

On a complete aside...does anyone actually know what "Joy Division" is or more importantly, was?...the whole Joy Division / New Order thing seems to have some seriously fascist undertones IMO!

Not sure if anyone has answered this already as it's from an old post. Couldn't be bothered to read all the threads!

From what I remember reading, the 'Joy Division' was basically a prostitution wing of a concentration camp used by the Nazis for sexual gratification. i.e. females kept in a camp and used by the Nazis for their sexual pleasures. (Not males I suspect, as homosexuality was illegal under Nazi law - though some Nazis were suspected of being homosexuals including Hitler himself and the notorious Goebels as well).

The 'New Order' is a Nazi belief/ movement based on white supremecy (I think). I did a search on the internet and came up with this rather dodgy website...

http://www.theneworder.org/

Quite why the band chose such fascist names for the band is not that clear. I wonder if any of them studied WW2 or something?

Personally I liked the music of Joy Division far more than New Order. Early New Order was quite good, but then it all went a bit monotonous and dare I say it, commercial.

No doubt though that the late Ian Curtis was a brilliant lyricist and very unusual performer. Such a shame his life ended so early.

So another go..............

Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell

And everyone has heard of the artist too :)
