The Aberdeen Chippy Run

Long overdue - just wondering who might be up for some lunch/supper and a run around the north east?

This will be on Sunday 7th February - starting at 2pm at the Inversnecky on the Beach front (just along from Nobles amusements) We'll meet at the Beach, grab some food, then go for a run. Bouncing around a few ideas...possibly up the coast to Newburgh/Collieston or maybe somewhere inland?

1) maybe will come along to a car park meet
2 ) cba looking at yellow until we have another engine, or parts to fix it. No point leaving it half done for ages in case rust sets in to delicate parts.

As a thought...food from the 'sneckie then maybe up to the Battery for some shots. Could swing in past Persley for a parts scrounge then a run out somewhere?

Perhaps not Persley as rummaging around a scrap yard in the cold does not appeal to me. Plus I still have bad memories of bottoming out the punto there.

I can always hide out in Tesco whilst you all have fun though

Sodding sods law and I've just heard that I now have 2 job interviews for the 9th that require a hell of a lot of prep work. Think of it as a bit like having your English higher in the morning and Maths higher in the afternoon.

Still going to turn up at the meet though as I'll need a break from the work

Now, the plan is to meet at the Inversneky but we can try and park together in the Codonas car park which leaves the option of a shot on the dodgems/game of pool as well. Or just a good old group shot for the cars... See you there

Inversnecky done. The boys are now playing in Persley (scrap yard for the non-Aberdonians) so I've popped into work for a while. They're going to join me later and we're going to head to the old FS HQ for photos
